In addition to understanding credit and student loan debt, we encourage each student to check their credit report regularly. Checking your credit report regularly will alert you to identity theft, or any errors your credit report may contain. Each individual is entitled to a free credit report from each of the major three credit bureaus every 12 months, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
